MCD Vehicle Systems is part of MCD Security Systems Ltd. We install vehicle CCTV, security and safety systems across the UK, with a workshop in Bradford, West Yorkshire, and a nationwide mobile fitting service.

We are the data controller for the personal information we collect through this website. You can contact us about your data at sales@vehicle-systems.co.uk or on 01274 271 888.

Booking and enquiry forms: your name, email address, phone number, vehicle make/model/registration, the service you are interested in, and — where a mobile installation is requested — the installation address and postcode.

Fleet enquiries: your company name, contact name, phone number, email address, vehicle type, approximate number of vehicles and installation postcode.

Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), vehicle information (optional) and your message.

Orders: if you purchase through our online shop, your email address and order details are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our website.

Certificate verification: the public certificate verification tool requires a certificate reference and vehicle registration. It returns only the details shown on the certificate itself and does not collect, match or store any personal data about the person performing the check.

Usage data: like most websites, we collect basic technical information (such as pages visited and device type) to keep the site running and improve it.

To arrange, schedule and carry out vehicle installations you have requested, including pre-installation contact and mobile fitting logistics.

To respond to quotes, enquiries and messages you send us.

To process payments and fulfil orders placed through the shop.

To create calendar entries and confirmations for bookings you have made.

To keep records of installations, including certificates, where applicable.

Contract: most processing is necessary to fulfil a booking, order or quote you request.

Legitimate interests: keeping business records of completed work, and maintaining and improving the website.

Legal obligation: retaining records where required by UK law, such as tax and accounting records.

We never sell your data. We share it only with the parties necessary to deliver our services:

Stripe (payments) — to process shop orders securely.

Our hosting and platform provider — to store booking and enquiry records securely.

Our calendar provider — to create booking appointments in our company diary.

Professional advisers or authorities — only where legally required.

Your data is stored on secure servers with encrypted connections (HTTPS). Customer booking and enquiry records are restricted to authorised staff accounts, and administrative pages are kept out of search engines.

Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are never stored on our systems.

Access to internal management systems is limited to authorised members of staff.

We keep booking, enquiry and order records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements — typically up to 6 years.

Installation certificate records are retained for the operational lifetime of the certificate so that licensing authorities and certificate holders can verify authenticity.

You may ask us to delete information we hold about you at any time, subject to these obligations.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, request deletion, object to or restrict processing, and ask us to transfer your data to another provider.
