Thatcham Category S5 — Highest Insurance-Approved Standard
The S5 is the highest category of insurance-approved tracker available. It includes Automatic Driver Recognition (ADR) — if your vehicle is moved without one of the supplied ADR fobs present, an immediate theft alert is triggered to the 24/7 monitoring centre, even if the thief has your original keys. This makes the S5 the recommended choice for high-value, performance, and luxury vehicles where insurers often mandate Category S5 as a condition of cover.

The highest insurance-approved tracker category. Recognised and required by most major UK insurers for high-value and performance vehicles.

It provides the same 24/7 UK monitoring and fast recovery as the S5, but without Automatic Driver Recognition. If your insurer requires a tracker but doesn't mandate S5, the S7 offers excellent protection at a more accessible price point.
