AI Systems
At MCD we offer our commercial customers AI systems for commercial fleets to better manage and prevent fatal accidents. We use 3 types of technologies: ADAS – Advanced Driver Assistance, BSD – Blind Spot Monitoring, DSM – Driver Safety Monitor.
DVS Systems – Direct Vision Standard
The Direct Vision Standard measures how much an HGV driver can see directly through their cab windows. DVS uses a star system to rate HGVs from 0 (lowest) to 5 (highest), depending on visibility. This indicates the level of risk to vulnerable road users, such as people walking and cycling near the vehicle.
Parking Sensors
We offer the most trusted and widest parking sensor range, including our Double Engage capability for towing situations. Choose from flat headed and angled heads in matte (colour coded) or gloss finish. We also supply a front dedicated kit that uses CAN information to auto-engage at low speeds.
